How do charity payments get paid?
Charities are paid through ACH or by check in the mail.
Our preferred method of payment is ACH. Charities will receive an ACH matching request during their first donation after signing up for Jumpstart Link and Button. The bank account routing and account numbers are provided directly to Bill.com through their payment network accounts.
If your charity chooses not to be paid through ACH, we fall back to check. This payment method is slower and more expensive. We will use the IRS database address on file for sending checks.
